Ray Sargeant

Ray joined Gather & Gather in July 2012 and has had a fantastic and varied career with us with a promotion every 2 years. He originally joined as a catering manager but was desperate to move into a back of house position, so was promoted to chef manager in another contract.  After two years Ray was promoted to head chef and 2 years after that he was promoted to development chef for the north.  


Working with chefs from The Gathered Table has been the highlight of Ray’s career.  The passion and enthusiasm from The Gathered Table chefs in the training sessions has filtered through Ray into our restaurant chefs who will use their new skills to drive our food offer forward.
